Jenna + Drew

About a year ago I received an e-mail from a super sweet fellow photog. She wanted to get photos of her and her husband for their anniversary. I knew their shoot would be fun. But I didn't expect them to become such amazing friends.

Seriously. I love that Jenna and I can show up at each other's houses without makeup on, drink wine together at 3 in the afternoon, shoot together, and talk about work, relationships, travel... anything.

And Drew is probably the best sport ever. He just goes along with our crazy ideas, listens to us talk shop at dinner, lets us drink his wine, and tells us we do fabulous work. 

So needless to say I was pretty pumped when they asked me to come to their new home and do their pictures again. This might just be my favorite shoot.... ever.

Just one reason I love visiting Jenna and Drew... puppy snuggles!!

I can't explain how happy I am to have these two in my life. It feels like we have known each other for so much longer than one year. Cheers to more sleep overs (tonight in fact), more wine, more talks, more photos, more coffee, more trashy tv, more traveling, more dreaming. love you guys. xoxo

i guess it's time to dust off the ol' blog and show you guys what we've been up to lately. 

we got to kick off wedding season with these two. i absolutely adore Trisha & Ryan. they are ridiculously fun and easy going. 

seriously. so glad they trusted me to trespass at the paper mill. absolutely obsessed with these photos.

now these two....

Jessye and Matt are probably more adorable than anyone can handle. and their wedding is going to be phenom! i am so beyond excited for august. 

really... it doesn't get better than this...

and of course. my personal favorite. boudoir.

seriously ladies.. if you haven't thought about doing this then you need to.

Logan + Jordan

i have been trying to enjoy my time off this winter

hanging out with the hubs and the kiddo

reading until 2am

drinking coffee with friends

but i have missed shooting so much 

so when our old friend Logan and her dashing man Jordan traveled from AZ to the midwest we were beyond thrilled to get them in front of the camera.

Logan and Jordan didn't need much direction.

there are some couples who just have a certain chemistry.

i can't say enough good things about these two. 

they are hard workers, they are funny, they are head over heels for each other, they are well dressed, they make you feel like they are your best friends, and um did i mention they're gorgeous!

we spent the afternoon catching up on life, walking around our old stomping grounds, and laughing. there was lots of laughing.
