Lately.

i know i'm quiet lately. for about a year. 

things are happening. i am happening. evolving. 

and with all this personal change comes a shift in business. it carries over ya know. that's the downside and the beauty with this whole photo gig. 

anyway. lately.... here's a little catch up for you.

you know this one... she always inspires.

then there's this shoot. i am so obsessed. these two are the most. their sense of humor is right on point. they do things the way they want and they don't apologize. and we didn't even have to try to get along. 

goodness sake. this is ultimate.

Lauren + Pete

so a couple weeks ago I attempted the insane and not only shot but also stood up in one of my best friend's wedding. I might have almost thrown up about 12 times before the first look but I am so so glad I decided to do this. It was one of the best/most kick ass weddings I've ever been a part of. 

I might be biased since these Lauren and Pete are two of my favorite people ever. seriously. I can't handle how good this day was. 

Lauren and I have been friends for almost 10 years now. so we have been there for each other through all the lows and the highs. and I have never seen her as happy as she was this day... and that's not a euphemism. this girl was oozing happiness. yup... oozing. and the way Pete looked at her all day long nearly broke my heart.

I don't think I have to say that I adore these two. but it's not just me. I'm pretty sure everyone that meets them feels the same way instantly. and besides the fact that they are so... well.. damn lovable they know how to throw a wicked party.

one of the other bridesmaids and my long time friend Joanne made these adorable invitations... she's insane!

this is my favorite ceremony moment ever ever ever! Lauren sang The Way I Am and Pete sang Green Eyes... I heard them practice twice before the wedding and I still got weepy.

oh. did I forget to mention that Pete's band played during the reception? cause yeah... that happened. and there's nothing I love more than live music.

Lauren & Pete- as I've probably said 100 times already you two are amazing. thank you for thinking I'm cool enough to do this... let alone cool enough to hang out with. I won't get all sappy now but I will say I love you both.
